FLOP OF THE WEEK: Feyenoord (Dutch Eredivisie).
The Iconic dutch club have been in dismal form of late. Their weekend league loss to Zwolle was their seventh in a roll and things are not looking good for them. The funny thing is that they're still sixth on the Eredivisie table so their hopes for Europe next season is still on. They need to brush off themselves and come back strong, a team like Feyenoord should be challenging for the title and not dwindling in the European places. Let them bring back the glory days of 2002 when they won the Europa League.
GOAL OF THE WEEK: Danny Welbeck (Arsenal).
The goal was nothing special, it wasn't a long ranger or someone taking on five players then chipping the goalie. Welbeck just met a well taken free-kick by Ozil who later scored with a header. This goal was chosen because of the time, moment and influence that it brings to Arsenal's title chase. First Danny Welbeck was coming on for his first appearance of the season with ten minutes to go in a game Arsenal were tied 1-1 against Leicester, and secondly he scored the winner for Arsenal in the 90th minute which helps Arsenal cut the points gap between them and Leicester to two points in the Barclays Premier League title chase. It was really a fairy tale, anyway have a look at the goal.
He was real close in helping Leicester City gain a precious point but his team could not hold on as Arsenal stole the day. It was in the 87th minute Arsenal were pushing for the winner as Ozil found Monreal down the left and the full-back drilled a low cross that met Olivier Giroud who controlled and hit a shot that looked like it was going into goal but Schmeichel was quick to react diving to his right to stop the ball from going in. After the save you could see him smirk a big smile. It was a good save.
