Good day FPL gaffers and welcome to the Gameweek 23 FPL picks. Let's help you rack up those points this weekend.
Alright let's get to it!!
GK: Heurelho Gomes (Watford FC)
Gomes has been in fine form this season. The Watford 'keeper has 8 clean sheets this season and should add to that tally against Newcastle United. Newcastle have failed to score 6 times away this season and have scored less than a goal a game this season. Newcastle will most likely pull a blank against Watford at Vicarage Road.
DF: Craig Dawson (West Brom FC)
The defender has contributed to his team immensely this season and has 7 clean sheets and has scored 2 goals. They are up against bottom-of-the-table Aston Villa who have got it wrong at both ends this season. Craig could be on the scoresheet this week and it's likely he'll get his 6 points for minutes played and clean sheet. Cheap buy too at 5.1.
MF: Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City FC)
The Belgian international has been in wonderful form for his new employers and seems to have settled very well in England. He has 5 goals and is second on the assists chart with 9. They are up against West Ham away at Upton Park. It will be a tough encounter but he should come up with the goods. At least a goal and/or assist for him on the day.
ST: Romelu Lukaku (Everton FC)
Another Belgian on the list this week. Lukaku is due a goal this week as he has been on a little barren run of 2 games. He has 15 goals and 5 assists. He's playing against a Swansea defence that have looked shaky in defence, aside from their recent clean sheet, so he should break his run this gameweek.
Captain's Pick: Odion Ighalo (Watford FC)
Odion has also been in a bit of a rut. He and Troy Deeney are up against Newcastle. The Troy and Odion Show should be back in town this weekend. Should be a good one for them.
A wonderful week of football ahead. Good luck!!
