Good day FPL managers. Welcome to Gameweek 28 of the Fantasy Premier League. We're back at it again with a set of midweek fixtures. Everyone is available for this gameweek so that's wonderful. A note of caution managers, Liverpool and Manchester City played a 120 minutes on Sunday and it is likely that both managers will field different sides on Wednesday. So be careful when picking players from those teams. All right let's get straight to business.
GK: Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City FC)
The son of Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel is looking to emulate his father and win the Premier League this season. He has 9 clean sheets so far and has been very influential in his team's rise to the top. They play a West Bromwich side that have had their ups and downs this season and look unlikely to cause Kasper and his defence much trouble.
DF: Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea FC)
He has seen a turnaround in his fortunes under the new manager and scored the winning goal in their comeback against Southampton during the weekend. They are up against a Norwich side that have suffered some key injuries to their side. Also, Ivanovic is very proficient in the air and could get a goal or assist from set pieces.
MF: Dimitri Payet (West Ham United FC)
The midfielder is arguably their best player this season. He was sorely missed during his spell on the sidelines and he has impressed since his return. He is a threat from set pieces so he should get some points on the day against Sunderland who have been poor for most parts of the season.
FW: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United FC)
We've got a little bit of a Rash over here at TSM. It's hard not to get caught up in the hysteria. The 18-year-old has 4 goals in his last 2 appearances for the first team. With his recent performance against Arsenal and Martial still out with a hamstring injury, he's sure to start against Watford.
Captain's Pick: Romelu Lukaku (Everton FC)
The former Chelsea man has had a week to rest thanks to the Capital One Cup final. He is sure to score at least two goals against bottom-team Aston Villa. Expect an amazing performance from him.
