Enjoy episode 9 of Plays Of The Week.
FLOP OF THE WEEK: Chelsea FC.
Chelsea football club as a whole this past week were below par as they suffered defeats both in Europe (Champions League) and Locally (Barclays Premier League). Chelsea don't look like a shade of the team they were last season and have been mediocre all through this season. Also their so called "Big Players" are not living up to expectation, plus the manager is still being arrogant, pulling up excuses for their dismal show so far. The Chelsea Hierarchy have backed the manager and with the International break upon us, they have to re-group and find their form from last season.
GOAL OF THE WEEK: Willian Borges (Chelsea).
Before this goal Willian had scored 3 free-kicks in consecutive matches. He stepped up to take one against Southampton and scored brilliantly to give Chelsea the lead in their 3-1 loss against Southampton over the weekend.
SAVE OF THE WEEK : Keylor Navas (Real Madrid).
Keylor has stepped up massively in feeling Iker Cassilas boots putting up good performances plus he has a smashing clean sheet record so far. Navas saved a penalty for Madrid against city rivals Atletico but it was not enough to see his team get all three points as Atletico scored late to salvage a point.
MATCH OF THE WEEK: PSG V Marseille (LIGUE1).
This was a really tough decision due to all the big games that went down this weekend, but the Footy on Paper panel picked PSG V Marseille.
Michy Batshuayi scored the opener in Le Classique by scoring a header in the 30th minute which beat PSG goalie Kevin Trapp. PSG replied 11 minutes as Zlatan Ibrahimovic was brought down in the box and he stood up to score the penalty which made it 1-1 on the night plus he equalled former PSG striker's record Pauleta who scored 109 goals for the Paris club. In the next three minutes PSG won another penalty and you know who stepped up and scored it, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the goal made him PSG's all time goal-scorer with 110 goals in all competitions.
Marseille won a penalty 12 minutes into the second-half, Abdelaziz Barrada took it but it was saved by PSG goalie Kevin Trapp. It was end to end till the final whistle and no other goal was scored as it finished 2-1.

The young right-back brings the perfect balance to the Arsenal team in terms of defending and attacking. His runs are always spot on and is always available when needed. He kept Memphis quiet is Arsenal's 3-0 win over Manchester United.

What a gem this lad has been for Southampton after signing from Celtic on transfer deadline day.
The Dutchman has brought some solidity to the saints back four and this has made the attackers enjoy their free flowing football. Chelsea's Falcao was not a threat because Van Djik dealt with him all day.

Sevilla captain was top notch in the game versus Barcelona, as his runs down the flanks caused problems for the Barcelona defense and also his defending was good on the day.
